Arizona Sunset

Photo of an Arizona Sunset

SUNSET STROLL
Join us for a late afternoon stroll through the desert. Shadows this time of day make for fantastic photographs. Wildlife begins to be active again with a good chance of seeing Deer browsing or perhaps the Great-Horned Owl silhouetted on a saguaro cactus and asking "Who's awake? Me, too." or the little Elf Owl giggling as it looks for an evening snack. Coyote howling in the distance or perhaps a Gray Fox barking always adds an air of mystery and excitement to our adventures. We will stroll about a mile to a knoll from which we can watch the sun go down while enjoying a light snack. Our beautiful Arizona sunsets are on picture postcards. Meandering out by the light of the moon adds a whole new dimension to enjoying the desert.

Included in this adventure is a cheese and fruit tray along with our homemade blueberry muffins and lemonade. Each person is supplied with a flashlight for the walk out. It is necessary to start this adventure at least an hour to an hour and a half before sunset. Please allow approximately three hours. Each person should wear sturdy shoes and carry a light jacket.

Hike : about 2 miles with little elevation gain.
